Worldwide Vets | Study Abroad
Vet Visions is an immersive pre-veterinary program in Zimbabwe, proudly offered in partnership with Worldwide Vets and the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association. Participants work alongside local veterinarians and wildlife carers, gaining hands-on experience in veterinary medicine and animal care while exploring Zimbabwe's unique wildlife healthcare landscape. What: Feeding the horses AM or PM (weekday nights needed!), grooming, and cleaning

Volunteer Opportunity: Haflinger Haven
Haflinger Haven is a rescue and sanctuary for horses located in St. Joseph, IL. During your time volunteering here, you will not only help with the care and husbandry of these horses, but you will be gaining horsemanship skills. Your shifts will mainly entail mucking stalls and haltering/leading horses. Hours are flexible and ANSC 398 credit may be possible.

This is a great experience in learning how to handle cats and administer oral medication. There is also a possibility of learning how to give subcutaneous injections as well.
